Sera from burned patients treated with a polyvalent staphylococcal vaccine were examined before the vaccine was applied and once a wk during vaccine treatment. The staphylolysin titer increased with the number of doses of vaccine inoculated. An increase in immunoglobulin (Ig) values, especially in IgA and IgM fraction, in the sera above 5.3 staphylolysin units was found. A more significant increase in IgA, IgM and IgG fraction in sera with the antistaphylolysin titers ranging between 8.0 and 10.0 U. occurred.en
