Abstract
Several groups of tuberculin sensitive guinea pigs were inoculated with mixed vaccines against diphtheria, tetanus and whooping cough. The results showed that the vaccine prepared with diphtheria and tetanus toxoids (Di-Te) had no effect on the tuberculin sensitivity of guinea pigs. On the contrary, Di-Te-Per vaccine clearly demonstrated its inhibitory effect on the tuberculin sensitivity in guinea pigs. This inhibition is due to the pertussis component in this combined vaccine.
